“The Voice” has been a staple of the NBC lineup for nearly 10 years. Now, in its 20th season, the singing competition is back with a new roster of contestants.

The new season kicked off on March 1, and features Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas, and John Legend as coaches. Like past seasons, the competition begins with the coaches choosing singers for their teams based on blind auditions.

After that, the show will head to the Battles round, which allows coaches to choose two of their singers to face off. If one of the singers wins, they advance to the Knockouts round. Further rounds lead up to a live performance where the final contestants are narrowed down to a winner by a popular vote by viewers.

Here’s how you can follow along with the competition on cable or through live TV streaming services.

How to watch ‘The Voice’

The latest season of “The Voice” premiered on March 1 on NBC. New episodes air Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. You can watch the show live through cable, over-the-air TV, or streaming services with access to NBC. You can also stream the show through the NBC website or NBC app if you have an authenticated pay-TV account.

Outside of live TV options, on-demand episodes of “The Voice” are available on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service. New episodes are available the day after they air on TV if you have Peacock Premium ($5/month) or Peacock Premium Plus ($10/month). Select episodes are available for free as well.

New members can currently get four months of Peacock Premium for 50% off

If you miss any performances, you can also download “The Voice” app to catch up with videos. And, during the live performances portion of the season, you can use the app to vote for your favorite singers.

Live streaming services with NBC

If you want to watch “The Voice” live on NBC without cable, you have a few different options.

One of the cheapest services with NBC is Sling Blue. This option costs $35 a month, and includes access to your local NBC channel. If you sign up today, you can get $10 off your first month.

You can also watch shows on three different devices with Sling Blue. So if someone wants to watch “The Voice” on one device while other people in your house stream a different channel, it’s totally possible.

Be aware, however, that NBC on Sling Blue is only available in select areas.  You can check to see if NBC is available in your area via Sling’s website.

Locast is another option to stream NBC. The app is a non-profit streaming service with local channels like NBC, Fox, ABC, and CBS in 29 markets across the country. Though the service is actually free to use, free streams are interrupted by periodic donation requests unless you pay the $5 a month donation fee.

Unlike the other services on this list, however, Locast only includes local stations and there are no DVR features.

Streaming Subscription (small)

If you’re looking for more channels alongside NBC and you don’t mind paying more, then YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo TV, and AT&T TV are all solid options as well. Prices range from $65 to $70 a month.

Though these services are a lot more expensive than Sling or Peacock, they each feature at least 65 live channels, making them a better choice for people who want a true cable alternative.
